Re:Small shields - 2007/01/10 14:50 Pretty much. This was brought up at the last monarch's meeting that the current rules allow someone to put small holes in the shield that swords could not fit through so as to increase the overall size of the shield. However, the monarchs declined to actually make a change to the set-up. If you are doing a custom shape, I would suggest keeping it as merely one shape, so as to not ruffle any feathers. Using the technique described above would be skirting the rules a bit too much for comfort, and might make some people upset. It might be techncially legal, but I think you would get a significant amount of flack for it. Kord
