DBW VI - the short post - 2008/09/02 07:06
Greetings all -
As we just got back from Dragon Blade Wars VI at the Duchy of the Desert Rose a short while ago, and are needing a shower and a good night sleep, this will be short, with a bit more complete post and mail to follow soon...
However, we would like to share with you all that again we had a great time at this event, and I'd like to ask you all to please join me in offering congratulations on 2 very special and significant elevations that occurred this weekend:
First, many hearty Congratulations to Sir Celdic Fitz Caliston, Amtgard's newest Knight of the Flame!
We were pleased and honored to be able to recognize one of Desert Winds' most dedicated, influential, and ever-serving denizens at our court on Saturday evening. Huzzah!
Likewise, our sincere Congratulations to Amtgard's newest, now fully ratified and officially invested, KINGDOM of the DESERT WINDS!
Long may she thrive and continue to show the rest of Amtgard what an amazing, dedicated, caring, beautiful group of people have come together to make that Dream a Reality..
And lastly I'd like to say a huge Thank You! one and all, to the folks of Desert Winds who once again showed immeasurable hospitality and friendship to us this weekend!! We love playing with you guys and look forward to seeing you soon!
