 necromancer class - 2006/04/26 12:37 I was wondering if there was anyone who could help me in createing a necromancer class I have most of the details worked out I just need help with some of the smaller details such as the magic points. I would also like it if someone could help me put it through the system so that we could put a pole up to possibly vote on a new class to be created because i know that there are lots of other people that want to create new classes so i think that we should make a new one just one at a time.

necromancer archtype (i believe it's in that book)

but if you truly want to make your own, stick to the same magic points
allowed to all magic classes (no need to break the system)
then either choose the weapon options and costs that healer or wizard
has to pay.

right now in Amtgard there is a really big push to get everyone playing
the same rules, there's an amtgard group (Amt7) that has dedicated
tons and tons of time, effort and editing to create additional book suplements
to get everyone playing the same game, and in this kingdom we just voted
to remove the two IM alternate classes and change them to monsters.
I doubt you'll find much success turning your necromancer into a class,
your best shot is to create it as a monster.

i agree compeltely with what grendel said. your best bet for a necromancer would be to play wizard or healer and choose only necromantic spells.
