 New to the Springs - 2009/11/18 02:04 Hail! I am Robert and just wanted to check if you had games still scheduled for Nov/Dec. I am new to the Springs and I have been very bored! I want to make sure you are still playing before I make myself new weapons and garb, etc. Its kind of a trek to where ya'll play for me so I am worried about wasting a bus ride to get there. Anyway, Thanks in advance and I hope to see you all on the field!

I've done LARP for a couple of years now, here and in Dayton, Ohio. Before that I've done SCA a long time back. I've been looking for a group to get with.

Besides myself, there is my eldest son, age 16 and a veteran LARPer. My middle son , age 13, is also wanting to get involved.

I haven't played ampgard, yet, but the rules don't look do different than others. When is the next get together?

 Re:New to the Springs - 2009/12/15 00:18 Darkmoon meets at Palmer Park every Saturday at 1. Look for a man named "Razor" or "Nagash", they are running that park right now, but I'm sure others would be willing to show you the ropes. Your eldest son is more then welcome to play, but both of you will need to sign his waiver as he is not 18. We have a minimum age of 14, so your middle son is a year off and may not be able to play, but you will need to talk with Razor and Nagash on this. I'm not sure how that land enforces this rule, but I know he is more then welcome to watch. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
