Re:The Flying Wizard - 2007/10/24 21:19 Balance......Light Side Counsel Much........

Thank All of you whom responded with counters or other Magic combinations.

Taking Berserk Barbarians to the fullest.
(subject of next spell combo)

Okay I've seen the effects (recieving) of the seemingly never ended horde of Berserk Teleported summoned and Res'ed Barbarians - Repeat til thy vile foes are all quite little corpses. It suck to fight but was awesome to see such thought put into a spell combo.

The Barbarian alone was good. Add mm say enchanted monk for one insta res in case the Barbarian corpse should manage to be out of summon range (last life Barbarian).

And a Defense against this, what could have been done that wasn't......

Assassinate and severspirit....some wounding left legs. Any other
Spells....anyone can die if you hit them enough.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question......can fixed enchantments overlap?? Say Two Flamewalls from two differant casters? Or a Flamewall and forcewall...? This would be good to know for them damn flat field battles.

10) Fixed Enchantments (FE)
a. Disappear (never to return) when their caster dies or travels farther than 100 feet from them.
b. Are considered to be on the area of ground and do not dissipate when other magic is cast.
c. A player may only have a single fixed enchantment active at a time. Casting a fixed enchantment while another fixed enchantment from the same player is already active causes both enchantments to be negated.
d. May be dispelled.

Re:The Flying Wizard - 2007/10/26 04:45 ......

All depending on anwser.......

If.....deffinatly IF one could cast Firewalls and Forcewalls (FW) touching corners one could make a triangle of walls.

With two forcewalls nearest the foe and one flamewall away. Pro Flame people could use it as a temporay shelter. Down side is a Besrerk Barbarian (B with Fight After Death (FaD) just runs though the Flamewall for 10 seconds of chaos. A three FW would be a teleport in/out only.

This would save the close to shattered and the important from the BB rampage.

Also a DoomsDay combo would be fun with the 3 FW.
The two wizards (assuming theres 30 people with 3 wizards among them) not planning on casting Doomsday cast the forward part of the triangle. The one whom will be casting DoomsDay casts the rear FW proir to starting Doomsday. The team casting Doomsday hides the wizards in the "Tri" having the two not casting DoomsDay cancle their FWs and hide behind the remaining one, therefore not being affected by the spell, at safe point near the end of his count. Casting wizards Live, Any one behind a FW or out of site lives. "You Die, They Die, Everyone Dies."

Anyway........have fun with that thought. It is only a thought ATM until the judgement on the "Magic Walls" touching is declared to the unbeknownst me.

Re:The Flying Wizard - 2007/10/26 21:19 you know... conversations of this nature might get more response if they were in the rules discussion forum rather than the darkmoon forum.

jsut a thought.
